Finnish Beef Company (FBC) welcomes all beef producers interested in its activities to take part in trainings, events, and trading. FBC aims to build an open marketplace, learning environment, and network to support Finnish beef producers. FBC’s goal is to ensure that beef producers have the opportunity to influence the market, their own operations, and the future of their production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finnish Beef Company Oy is currently applying for recognition as a producer organisation (4\/2026). The objective is to establish Finland’s first producer organisation for beef producers, in which Finnish beef production is developed sustainably from the producers’ perspective while taking customers’ needs and expectations into account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Membership or ownership is not a prerequisite for participating in FBC’s activities. Once FBC has been granted producer organisation status, it will launch cooperation agreements and a trial membership programme, offering beef producers the opportunity to become familiar with the company’s operations before deciding whether to apply for full membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The detailed criteria and terms of the trial membership programme and cooperation agreement will be published in full once producer organisation status has been approved. A prerequisite for cooperation and trial membership is that the producer’s beef production is available for trade, meaning the producer may not be under an obligation to deliver their cattle to any other party.
