{"id":138,"date":"2026-04-27T16:58:43","date_gmt":"2026-04-27T16:58:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/finnishbeefcompany.fi\/?page_id=138"},"modified":"2026-04-27T17:04:58","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T17:04:58","slug":"quality-information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/finnishbeefcompany.fi\/index.php\/quality-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Quality information"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Finnish Beef Company&#8217;s quality is built on sustainable and responsible Finnish beef production, in which suckler cows raise their own calves, graze on pasture, and are fed primarily on grass-based forage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beef-breed animals offered for sale must meet the following requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Medication and the use of antibiotics are permitted only on the prescription and instructions of a veterinarian.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The farm participates in the <em>Naseva <\/em>health care register and has a written health care plan prepared by a veterinarian on the basis of a health care visit, updated annually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Animal feeding is based on an up-to-date feeding plan informed by current feed analyses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Animals offered for sale must represent at least the average of their breed, or any deviation must be justifiable (including daily weight gain and 200-day weight).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A health certificate issued by a veterinarian must be provided for the animals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The farm must not be subject to any active correction orders concerning animal welfare.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The conditions in which the animals are kept must meet the requirements set by the Animal Welfare Act.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Valid from 22 April 2026 until further notice.
