Finnish Beef Company’s quality is built on sustainable and responsible Finnish beef production, in which suckler cows raise their own calves, graze on pasture, and are fed primarily on grass-based forage.

Beef-breed animals offered for sale must meet the following requirements:

  • Medication and the use of antibiotics are permitted only on the prescription and instructions of a veterinarian.
  • The farm participates in the Naseva health care register and has a written health care plan prepared by a veterinarian on the basis of a health care visit, updated annually.
  • Animal feeding is based on an up-to-date feeding plan informed by current feed analyses.
  • Animals offered for sale must represent at least the average of their breed, or any deviation must be justifiable (including daily weight gain and 200-day weight).
  • A health certificate issued by a veterinarian must be provided for the animals.
  • The farm must not be subject to any active correction orders concerning animal welfare.
  • The conditions in which the animals are kept must meet the requirements set by the Animal Welfare Act.

Valid from 22 April 2026 until further notice. The conditions are reviewed annually.
